VFW Fundraising

Great Lakes Dragaway is a proud sponsor of the VFW Post 8343 and their VFW Fundraising Calendar. The calendars sell for $100. There is a daily raffle for $100 cash prizes and $1000 cash prizes on Labor Day, 4th of July and Memorial Day. Proceeds help in the following areas:

The VFW plays a role in many Veteran's activities.

Purchase and replace flags in veterans home and institutions

Purchase and distribute personal items for temporarily displaced veterans

Purchase and ship to our overseas troops, cd's, dvd's,  school essentials i.e. pencils, paper, note books, some food stuffs and snacks, bug spray by the case,

Maintain and make available to veterans a electric shooter

Help with VFW's Operation UpLink by purchasing phone cards

Maintain an on-going public awareness campaign w/ printed materials and flyers.

Assure veteran and military funerals are conducted with proper protocol and reverence.
